My wife and I just had our kitchen remodeled and had an Island built-in using barstools since our kitchen footprint doesn't leave the space for this beautiful Sherrill Dinette. I bought this dinette and four chairs several years ago and paid $1800.00. I think the asking price is fair and it's FIRM. Each of the four chairs have a cane insert on back and seat. The chairs came with cushions that we always used when sitting at the table, however, we seldom sit there as we usually took our food to the den and eat there while watching television. Cushions do come off for cleaning or making it easy should you not want to use them. Each has solid wood around the cane inserts. I don't remember if it's solid cherry or a cherry finish on solid wood. The legs and arms are made of decorative iron. Chairs are very comfortable. The table is 44 inches in diameter and has the same wood trim around a 38 inch marble insert that is basically white background with grey design. This is very heavy table and will take two people to pick it up to load. I cannot help load as my back wont allow me to lift something this heavy. $250. Phone Frank
